Addiction

Addiction is a complex and challenging issue that affects millions of people around the world. It can lead to significant emotional, psychological, and physical distress, and can have a profound impact on a person's life, relationships, and overall wellbeing. However, it's essential to know that addiction is treatable, and seeking professional help can be the first step towards recovery.

As a counselor specializing in addiction and treatment, I understand the challenges faced by those struggling with addiction. I have over 20 years of experience in working with addictions. I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, and Judicial Assisted Programs (i.e. Drug Courts). My goal is to provide comprehensive and personalized support to help individuals overcome addiction and regain control of their lives.

Addiction is a chronic disease that can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, race, or socioeconomic status. It's essential to understand that addiction is not a moral failing or a lack of willpower. Instead, addiction is a complex disease that affects the brain's reward system, leading to compulsive drug or alcohol use, even in the face of negative consequences.

At our addiction treatment center, we take a holistic approach to treatment, addressing the underlying issues that contribute to addiction. Our team of experienced professionals, including counselors, therapists, and medical staff, work together to create individualized treatment plans that address each person's unique needs.

We believe that a combination of evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), Brain Mapping Neurofeedback, Biofeedback, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), can be effective in treating addiction. These therapies help individuals develop coping skills, Central Nervous System relaxation skills, brain retraining and neuroplasticity skills, identify triggers and negative thought patterns, and develop healthier behaviors.

In addition to therapy, our addiction treatment center offers a range of other services, including medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, family therapy, and aftercare support. We understand that addiction is a complex issue that requires ongoing support and care, and we're committed to providing our clients with the resources they need to achieve lasting recovery.

If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, we encourage you to reach out to our addiction treatment center for help. We're here to provide support, guidance, and hope as you begin your journey towards recovery. With the right treatment, support, and commitment, recovery is possible.
